Category 1

Roof Thermal Insulation of an existing house.

The applications for these support schemes in Cyprus must be submitted by 20/12/2023 or until the exhaustion of the available budget.

It concerns existing dwellings for which the application for a building permit was filed before 21/12/2007.

This scheme is applicable to investments made after 01/08/2021 while investments made prior to 20/12/2021 will receive the grant amount according to the 2021 Grant Scheme that was applicable at that time.

 

Grant Amount

45% on eligible thermal insulation costs with a maximum amount of €2,250.

For mountain areas the amount of grant increases by 50%.

 

Beneficiaries

Natural Persons who have made a corresponding investment.

Possibility to implement the investment through an Energy Service Company.

Category 2

Roof Thermal Insulation of an existing house in combination with the installation of a Photovoltaic System.

The applications for these support schemes in Cyprus must be submitted by 20/12/2023 or until the exhaustion of the available budget.

It concerns existing dwellings for which the application for a building permit was filed before 21/12/2007.

Grant Amount

For the roof thermal insulation:
55% on eligible thermal insulation costs with a maximum amount of €2,750.

For the photovoltaic installation:
€450 per installed kW of a photovoltaic system with a maximum amount of €1,800.
For mountain areas the amount of grant increases by 50%.

 

Beneficiaries

Individuals who have made a corresponding investment.

The home electricity bill must be issued in their name.
